GS General Information

Wahana Visi Indonesia

Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI), is a Christian humanitarian organization who focuses on improving the live quality of children as the next generation. (wahanavisi.org) WVI has a program called: Gift of Hope to share and care with the children in Sambas, West Kalimantan, whose purposes are to provide classrooms for 416 students in 3 schools. Through the program, we want to use this opportunity to cultivate compassion in our students’ heart to share and care people in Sambas, West Kalimantan, by saving some of their money in a box in a month of October. The donation will be used to build new classrooms in the local school in Kalimantan.
WVI will provide our students with the saving box. Our students will get the saving box this week to be kept at home. Your child should bring back the saving box on Thursday, October 25 to the school (Homeroom Teacher). We really hope that as parents, we could use this opportunity to have a rich discussion with our child in how to love and care our country, Indonesia. We do not want that this is just merely a program that need to be done, instead we hope that our students could gain more understanding in how to take part to be the Light for this Nation.
